AutoIt Recorder

AU3Recorder (AutoIt Script Recorder) is a simple utility which can record Mouse and Key board actions. The Mouse actions are recorded with the screen coordinates. The recorded script can be played back using AutoIt at a later time.

AutoIt Recorder utility is not available from AutoIt Version

But the utility can be extracted from AutoIt Version It can be executed as a standalone utility or put in the AutoIt installation directory and access from the SciTE Editor Tools menu.

You can download the AutoIt Recorder utility from one of the link provided below:

Extract the downloaded zip file and copy the Au3Record directory to <AutoIt Installation Directory>\Extras (Eg:- C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\Extras) folder.

Note: If you are downloading the archived AutoIt version, the recorder utility will be available in the directory \autoit-v3.3.14.0\install\Extras\Au3Record.

How to Start Recording?

Click over 'Click To Record' AutoIt icon to start the recording. Optionally, we can browse and specify an application, which will be launched before starting the record.

How to Stop Recording?

Click 'Click To Stop' button to stop recording.
The recorded script will be available in the SciTE editor, if the recorder launched though the editor. Else it will be available in the recorder text area.
Save the script for later use.
